In October, 2018 a woman was shot and killed by her estranged boyfriend in the City of Lacey.   It is believed that she was shopping for her daughter’s “Christmas Wish List”.   The wish list was found at the scene, written in pencil on loose leaf paper. Items on the list indicated that they were at available at a store in the immediate vicinity. The woman has two daughters, ages 11 & 16, currently staying with their aunt who lives in Lacey.   Lacey Police Officers stayed in contact with them since this murder took place.  In the patrol room, officers discussed obtaining funds to try and help ensure that the children have a decent Christmas in light of their tragic loss. FRMAD provided funds for the officers to purchase & deliver Christmas gifts for the two girls.”
